Isley Brothers

The Isley Brothers are an American R&B and soul music group that was formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1950s. The group was originally composed of brothers O’Kelly Isley Jr., Rudolph Isley, and Ronald Isley.

The Isley Brothers gained popularity in the 1960s with their unique blend of gospel, doo-wop, rock and roll, and R&B music. Some of their most famous hits from this era include “Shout,” “Twist and Shout,” and “This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You).” They continued to produce hit songs throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including “That Lady,” “Harvest for the World,” and “Between the Sheets.”
